Middle School Nightmare
Things aren't so bad now, but middle school was really difficult for me. I'm not a good student. I hated all the homework and teachers, even when my parents got me private tutoring. I got picked on almost everyday, by both boys and girls. It's true that I'm unique and like to express myself through my clothes and stuff, but when I started wearing a lot of black, kids at my school teased me.

When you have a new outfit and go off to school feeling pleased with your clothes or your appearance, it can make you feel happy, but if you feel bad about your looks, or someone teases you about an outfit you're wearing, it can ruin your day. My mom says sometimes girls who don't feel good about the way they look, or get teased by others get an eating disorder.

I think it's normal to feel bad when you get picked on because of the way you look. Sooner or later, every girl has to get comfortable with her looks and decide how important it is for her to look and dress a certain way.
