Marsha Madness
The worst person in Middle School was a girl I didn’t even know. Let’s say her name is “Marsha.” Marsha was one of the ‘popular’ girls who already had a boyfriend, so he and his friends would make fun of me, too. They nicknamed me ‘Morticia’ and taped creepy music on their cell phones to play whenever I walked by. What did I ever do to her? Why couldn’t she just leave me alone? I don’t get it.

Yeah. I don’t get that either. I’ve been lucky. I haven’t been bullied really. But I’ve watched other kids get picked on. I told one bully in homeroom that it wasn’t funny at all—it was just mean. Even though he seemed cocky, I think maybe he wasn’t confident at
all, and
he was trying to come off as popular and funny. Taking cheap shots is a dumb way to do it.
