About Me
My life has been kind of hard emotionally. My parents run a business together, so they work a lot. I’ve always had babysitters after school and during the holidays, and some of them didn’t care that much about doing a good job. My older sister got pretty messed up in high school—started doing drugs with her friends. Eventually she dropped out and ran away. She came back, but she and my parents fight all the time.

That's a drag about your sister. Hope things get better. My brother is the same way, he got involved with drugs and caused a lot of problems for our whole family. Even kids at school gave me a hard time because they said he was a druggie.

It's hard to hold your head up when stuff like that happens, but I hope you have some good friends to help you through all this. I know your sister's friends were part of her problem, but don't let it happen to you. I've seen it a lot in my neighborhood--if your friends drink or do drugs or have sex you're under pressure to do it, too, and a lot of girls do.
