The Secret
High School is all about "change." I feel as if I'm more mature and responsible now, but adults sure don't view me that way yet (I'm sure my parents don't recognize my desire for more independence). At the same time, the idea of being a "grown up" can feel a little bit overwhelming.   I think it's important to know when to ask for help, so I finally told Kirsten that I just can't keep her secret any longer.   She needs to tell someone else who knows what to do. I'm worried about her and the baby, so I found some places in the phone book where they will talk to pregnant teens and help them get support, and offered to go along with her. I hope she takes me up on the offer.
