'Lost & Found' Fruit Smoothie

I love creating my own smoothies and shakes. I take whatever fruit happens to be in the kitchen, put it in the blender, and find out what really tingles my taste buds!

Hard Ware

  • Blender
  • Glasses

Soft Ware

  • Assorted fruits
  • Ice cubes
  • Your favorite flavor of juice

Directions

  1. Prepare any variety of fresh fruits—maybe bananas, strawberries, and raspberries—like you would to eat them (wash berries, peel and slice bananas).
  2. Place prepared fruit into the blender.
  3. Add about 10 ice cubes.
  4. Pour in your favorite flavor of juice (I like to use Twister or Juicy Juice) until about 3/4 of the ice and fruit are submerged.
  5. Blend until smooth.
  6. Pour into glasses and enjoy!

Helpful Hints

  • Make sure you have permission to use a blender!
  • If you like apples, peel and core them before blending. They add great taste but the peels get stuck in your teeth!
