• No Purchase Necessary. THIS CONTEST IS FOR GIRL SCOUT MEMBERS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 14 AND 17 YEARS OLD. GIRLS MUST HAVE A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER COMPLETE THIS FORM.

ENTRY DEADLINE:

ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY April 3 at 12 MIDNIGHT (EST).

HOW TO ENTER:

All entries must be submitted by mail to ON THE ROAD DRIVER’S ED CONTEST, GIRL SCOUTS OF THE USA, 420 FIFTH AVE., 15TH FLOOR NEW YORK, NY 10018 or online via electronic submission at www.STUDIO2B.org.  Girl Scout members between the ages of 14-17 years old who complete the On The Road Driver’s Ed essay question and parental/guardian contest release form will be entered into the ON THE ROAD DRIVER’S ED CONTEST. All completed entries must be received by April 3, 2008 in order to be considered as an official contest entry for the ON THE ROAD DRIVER’S ED CONTEST.

PRIZE:

Prizing is specified below. All winners will be selected based on originality, creativity, and overall content of their response. The grand-prize winner and all contest finalists will be notified that they have been awarded prizing from the respective contest prize levels by Girl Scouts of the USA by April 18, 2008.

CONTEST GRAND-PRIZE WINNER: One (1) grand-prize winner will be awarded an Indianapolis 500 trip in 2008, sponsored by Firestone Complete Auto Care. The Indianapolis 500 race will be held on May 25, 2008. The prize includes round-trip economy class airfare for four, two double room hotel accommodations for three nights (May 23, 24, and 25), round-trip ground transportation in Indianapolis, IN to and from the airport and back and forth from the race, hospitality race access and a Girl Scout Courage, Confidence and Character prize pack (T-shirt, pillow, journal & bracelet) and a copy of the On The Road: The Savvy Girl’s Guide to Cars publication, all courtesy of Firestone Complete Auto Care and GSUSA, with a total retail value of $3,000 (exclusive of cost of airfare which will depend on the location of the winner). The grand-prize winner and party of three are required to travel on this trip in May 2008 to the Indy 500 Race only.  This prize award trip to the Indy 500 Race will expire after May 31, 2008.  All travel must be completed by May 31, 2008. The winner must be able to take the trip in 2008. In the event that the winner cannot attend, the grand prize will be awarded to one of the five finalists.

Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. Girl Scouts of the USA reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the awarded prize is unavailable for any reason.

CONTEST FINALISTS: Five (5) finalists will each be awarded an On The Road Driver’s Ed safety prize pack which includes an a Girl Scout Courage, Confidence and Character prize pack (T-shirt, pillow, journal & bracelet), Firestone Road Side Safety Kit, and a copy of On The Road: The Savvy Girl’s Guide to Cars publication, all courtesy of Firestone Complete Auto Care and Girl Scouts of the USA, with a total retail value of $150 per prize pack.
