No, it's not a new political party, night club, or rock band.

The Green Scene is a little spot in the universe where you'll find everything to do with Mother Earth—her features, creatures, and how she works—even her issues (we all have issues).

From stories on city critters and creating urban green spaces to camping with grizzlies and helping tropical rainforests, there'll be something to encourage everyone to appreciate the planet, enjoy it, and work to save it.

This monthly feature will also include surveys, environmental tips, cool photography, and guest columns by you, our readers. Hiked the Grand Canyon? Helped create a community garden in your neighborhood? Set up a bird sanctuary? Your story could appear on this web page, so keep your eyes peeled for requests for feature writers.
