Girl Scouts of the USA has teamed up with Outward Bound Wilderness, the nation's leading nonprofit adventure organization, to offer premiere outdoor courses designed and limited to Girl Scouts. These courses offer an incredible opportunity to share a fun, challenging wilderness experience with other Girl Scouts from across the country.

Why Outward Bound?

On an Outward Bound Wilderness adventure, you'll travel to beautiful places few have an opportunity to see. As you hike, sail, climb, backpack, paddle, or "mush" through the pristine backcountry, you'll learn how to meet challenges and do things you never thought possible. Outward Bound's renowned staff will teach you the skills you need to venture safely and will share their knowledge so you and your fellow Girl Scouts can work together to lead your expedition. You'll return home with a deeper knowledge of yourself and the world. You'll also develop new senses of responsibility, confidence, trust, and compassion.
